Before boarding, we strongly suggest you socialize your dog to a boarding kennel beginning with a very short stay (e.g. half-day doggie day care). That way they get used to the kennel environment. Dogs that frequently visit our boarding kennel (especially from puppyhood) ABSOLUTELY LOVE coming here. It is like their home away from home.

Older dogs (five years or older) that have never been boarded before may have a hard time adjusting to the kennel atmosphere.  This is especially true when boarding is due to an emergency.

If time permits, we recommend you tour our facilities before boarding your pet. We are available during our regular Business Hours.  Our Staff works hard to ensure our facilities are clean, sanitary and comfortable and we do love to show them off!

Feel free to bring your dog's favorite toys and/or treats. Label all items clearly with your dog's first and your last name.  We provide beds such as kuranda beds for your pet’s comfort.  We can provide bedding. However, you may wish to bring a blanket or towel with your scent on it to make him feel more at home.  We are unable to wash stuffed beds as our washer is damaged with such large, bulky loads.

We provide Fromm, a top grade dog food.  However, a sudden change in diet may result in diarrhea or other digestive issues.  Therefore, bringing your pet's own food is a good idea.

All dogs must be up-to-date on their vaccinations. We require copies of shot records that we can keep on file. Please review our Vaccinations page.

For safety purposes please remember to bring your dog on a leash. If you arrive at the kennel without a leash please leave your dog in your vehicle while you borrow a leash from us. Please read our Procedures for Checking In prior to your arrival.
